Feasibility study shows strong need for Education Media Centre

There has been significant progress over the last three months on the CEBE project to develop an Education Media Centre - a new initiative to make education research more accessible to the press, media and policy makers.

A detailed feasibility study has been conducted, involving consultations with national policy makers and journalists, that has demonstrated a clear market need for an initiative of this type (see Consultation Report for further details).

The outputs of these consultations, along with analysis of existing media centre models, have shaped a provisional working model and business case for the EMC, with a deliverable start-up plan (see Final Feasibility Study Report).

A start-up phase for the EMC project is currently underway, involving further stakeholder research, awareness building and a fundraising drive. If you have any thoughts on appropriate avenues of funding, or would like some further information on the project, please contact Jonathan Sharples or Matilda Gosling.
