The Science and Practice of ‘Active Implementation Frameworks’ in improving services to people

The RSA, 8 John Adam Street, London WC2

Melissa Van Dyke, Co-Director, the National Implementation Research Network (NIRN), University of N. Carolina

Informed by the research and evaluation literature as well as experiential wisdom from successful implementation efforts at both state and federal level over many years, this workshop will present a valuable framework to guide purposeful, active, effective implementation of evidence-informed and evidence-based interventions in “real world” settings. The workshop will discuss the factors necessary for successful implementation, the stages of implementation and the change process, the roles and functions needed to support successful implementation, and various ways to embed continuous improvement into practice change efforts.

A workshop hosted by the UK-Implementation Network
